Large campground where we spent one night. Quiet area with good size lots. Only complaint is the bathrooms need to be updated.

We had a Beautiful site with a water view. The campsites were spacious and easy to back into. The staff was very friendly and the price was more than reasonable.

We had been staying in Gunter Hill as a halfway point on our way to Pensacola. Next time we will explore Montgomery, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights and will not be back .The spots were clean and level, but my husband went to the shower house and came back and said he did not use bc they were not very clean and could use an update. The whole campground and the whole town smelled like sewage. It was so bad. We understand that’s no fault of the campground but it was so bad you couldn’t sit outside. I will also mention that right outside the campground there is a dirt race track. It was not going on while we were there, but I’m sure that if it was, it would be loud in the campground.. We were there the last few days of December so not sure if it’s different during summer months. I will say the campground is very dark and quiet despite a few dogs that did bark a lot.

Arrival & departure
- The entrance booth can be reached at 334-269-1053.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- To protect forests, do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site.
