Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. Most sites were full during the 4th of July weekend but it was still very quiet. The park is in a great location. Close enough to Montgomery/Prattville but far enough from the noise/traffic. We'll be back.

Camp ground was clean, quiet, and nearly empty. It was nice to have most of the place to yourself, and if you can snag a spot near the new bathhouse its quite convenient. I will absolutely stay here again.

Love this campground! It is so peaceful & lovely. We have stayed many times overnight on our way to visit relatives in south GA. Last week the camp host was very helpful in securing us a pull thru site after we were delayed arriving because of the interstate being shut down. This caused us to arrive after dark, about 10 pm. I had booked a back in site. After we were delayed we did not feel comfortable backing into our spot after dark. A call to the park office was all it took! Many thanks to the camp host for arranging a pull thru site for us! This really lowered our stress level! Thank you!
