I frequently stop between Florida and Nashville and have always been very impressed. The sites are cleaned and the host are amazing.

This is a beautiful campground with mostly spacious and well laid out sites. The road throughout the park was great for bike riding though cars often exceeded the speed limit making it a bit more dangerous.
The 4-star rating is due to the staff experience. At check-in they were not particularly welcoming - just luke warm. But as we were leaving we stopped to talk to them about an odd smell we experienced near our campsite and to ask a question. My husband stood behind another customer for an extended period of time as she was struggling (on her phone) about a reservation issue. The staff never acknowledged my husband standing there and then when the other person offered to step aside so they could help us, the staff continued to ignore us. This seemed quite unprofessional and was certainly disappointing. Perhaps a refresher on customer service is warranted.
Otherwise, this campground is worth the less-than-ideal journey to get there!

The park was really nice, with lots of space between each campsite, and lots of trees and shade. We were in Catoma Loop #061. The bath rooms there were basic as best, very dark with lots of lightbulbs out. We didn't manage to get to Antioch Loop so can't comment on that area.
