We love this park. The sites are very spacious and plenty long enough. There are plenty of trails to hike with our dogs.

Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

We’ve stayed at Gunter Hill several times before and while the campsites are very nice, level and spacious, we were very disappointed this time with the condition of the laundry facilities and the whole shower house building. A lot of maintenance and care needed. Our automatic transfer switch burned out and shorted while we were there and we’re wondering if it was due to something with the power source at the campsite, #64. The staff we encountered were very pleasant.
