This was nice and unexpected stop for us on the way home from our long trip. It is a very nice campground. We had full hook ups at our site. It was pretty much level. We had a view of the lake and next to the bridge it was quiet and very shady. If ever in this pare of Alabama again, we will make this a stop.

We stayed at Gunter Hill site Catoma 24 in a Class C RV for 3 nights in June. The site was very private and near the bath house.
The bathhouse was clean, and the laundry was free. It was very easy to bike around the campground. Wooden decks overlooking the lake were perfect for hanging out or fishing. Our site was $30/night. Our America the Beautiful pass reduced it to $15. We'll definitely be back!

I love, love, LOVE Gunter Hill. I love the spacious campsites and having one right on the water was phenomenal. The hosts were so nice and helpful. The bath house was clean. I could go on and on. I think Gunter Hill is now my favorite Alabama campground.

Campground was clean and well kept( with the exception of grass maybe needing cut in places). Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
