The campground had all we needed and was large enough to walk and bike a good distance. The only negative is the distance from any type of grocery store- had to go to Montgomery for that. However, our campsite (30) had access to the lake, and my husband went kayaking right from the site every day.

BEST COE we've been to. Sites are huge, level & shaded. Bathrooms are "dated", but clean. There are no "Exit" signs, so pay attention. ONLY complaint...no HOT water, more luke then warm, but great pressure. BONUS...Dollar General on road into park. Big rigs can park across the street. Go to downtown Montgomery. Very clean, very safe. A beautiful city.

Beautiful campground and we had a deep lot and just 40 feet to the lake.

Gunter Hill Campground is one of our favorite places to camp. Quiet campground with the only noise coming from the song birds. Long sites and full hookups was a great deal.

Nice park. Off the beaten path a bit. Can have a strong smell of a paper mill if the wind is in the right direction. Facilities are a little run down but not avreal concern if you’re self contained.

This is a great park! Very spacious and spread out sites. We stayed at Site 54 in the Catoma Loop , which is full hook up. Initially we were on Site 52, but the electrical pedestal was showing "reverse polarity" on our surge protector. We went to the office and they said some of the pedestals will read that, but the electrician stated they were fine. Apparently, it is an issue with the plugs not fitting tightly in to the receptacle. We were moved to Site 54 and initially it also showed the same issues, but when the plug is "jiggled" it showed okay to use. The main bathhouse in the Catoma Loop was clean and well maintained. We would stay again if in the area.
