What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek campground offers a serene and beautiful environment, ideal for those who enjoy wildlife and river fishing, with friendly and helpful staff contributing to a positive experience. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of deer, though some have noted a few issues, such as unkempt sites and noise from a nearby paper mill. The closed boat ramp and limited amenities for boating enthusiasts were common concerns, but many expressed a desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

Great place to relax. We only wish they were open all year long.

Mrs. Margaret at the front was a doll, the camp site was on the water and wonderful in the mornings. Only negative was this campsite is very near a paper mill and is HELLA loud and operates mostly at night so if you are tent camping don't expect much sleep. Overall it was a pleasant weekend.

Very nice views. Host was informative and helpful. Watching a kingfisher in action was a treat.

Very quiet and peacful camp until the weekend. It seemed the camp became a big party place on Friday. Guests were out and making noise until well past the 10 pm quiet time start. We did enjoy until then.

The park was beautiful this time of year. The views of the river were more noticeable. We were a little disappointed that not all the sites were open.

I booked here so we could make a day trip over to Providence Canyon. The sites were open and spacious. Lots of wildlife to see. Beautiful sunrises over the water. Spanish moss gave it a very coastal Georgia feel. Worth bringing a kayak. Not much close by so get groceries on the way in.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Attendees were very friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. This is the first year Bluff Creek has remained open for the fall and winter season. Hoping this won’t be the last. Love camping here and plan on returning many more times.

This park is well off the beaten path and is a beautiful park. There are small herds of deer that meander through the park. The Spanish moss on the trees just adds to it. The only downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that there is a paper mill nearby and, if the wind is right, you'll smell it. You'll definitely hear it. It sounds like booms in the distance. Not enough to really take away from camping, but just something to be aware of. My only real complaint about the park is the camp hosts. The gentleman was less than helpful and seemed like he didn't want to be pulled away from his bag of potato chips and the book he was reading. If you're using Verizon, you'll have issues with cell signal. AT&T worked well for our friends.

The gate staff treated us so very kindly. We got a map of the park, and we moved right into our site. The park was nice and luckily there were no annoying ants like our previous camping experience in Eufaula, Alabama. We plan to return to this spot soon.
