The gate staff treated us so very kindly. We got a map of the park, and we moved right into our site. The park was nice and luckily there were no annoying ants like our previous camping experience in Eufaula, Alabama. We plan to return to this spot soon.

Great park with wide spots and beautiful views. Most sites are right on the water. Campground is about 30 minutes from Eufala which has some cool things to do. However: THERE IS NO CELL COVERAE OR WIFI IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WORK OR STAY CONNECTED.

The park is quite nice, the sites are level gravel restrooms and showers are clean. The reservation system seems to lack the ability to actually see the inventory of sites. There were 2 sections that were closed for work however over 60% of the available sites did not show up within the system. While the site we did choose was fine, the lack of ability to see the rest just seems odd.
