What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek campground offers a serene and beautiful environment, ideal for those who enjoy wildlife and river fishing, with friendly and helpful staff contributing to a positive experience. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of deer, though some have noted a few issues, such as unkempt sites and noise from a nearby paper mill. The closed boat ramp and limited amenities for boating enthusiasts were common concerns, but many expressed a desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

The park itself is great. Beautiful scenery right on the river. Everything was clean and very well kept and we felt safe the whole time. We stayed at Site 62 right on the corner of the creek and the river. There were guys catching catfish down at the seawall which was quite entertaining to watch.
I can only give it 3 stars because of the paper plant at the adjacent property. We were there December 31 thru January 2 and they never stopped. It was 24 hours a day with the tress being ground into pulp and the equipment running. I can't imagine what it must sound like for the people working there given that we were probably a mile away. I'm not exaggerating here, they worked right through New Years, all night long and I haven't gotten to the smell. It was terrible! It came in waves with the wind but when it hit it was enough to make you sick. I basically had a low grade headache from the smell the whole time. Then we left the park and went south to cross back into Georgia to tour Providence Canyon State Park and drove past and the workers there were all on strike with police and signs and the whole bit. It tainted the experience even more.

The park is quite nice, the sites are level gravel restrooms and showers are clean. The reservation system seems to lack the ability to actually see the inventory of sites. There were 2 sections that were closed for work however over 60% of the available sites did not show up within the system. While the site we did choose was fine, the lack of ability to see the rest just seems odd.

The campground is well kept, while we were there, I seen them clean the shower house every day. I just like the area.

Great park with wide spots and beautiful views. Most sites are right on the water. Campground is about 30 minutes from Eufala which has some cool things to do. However: THERE IS NO CELL COVERAE OR WIFI IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WORK OR STAY CONNECTED.
