What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek campground offers a serene and beautiful environment, ideal for those who enjoy wildlife and river fishing, with friendly and helpful staff contributing to a positive experience. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of deer, though some have noted a few issues, such as unkempt sites and noise from a nearby paper mill. The closed boat ramp and limited amenities for boating enthusiasts were common concerns, but many expressed a desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

Beautiful location! We love it here and plan to continue to stay here when we visit our family in the area. The campground hosts are all so kind and welcoming. We had fun fishing in the river with our grandkids and they loved the playground. The sites are clean and the campground is well maintained.

We like this campground. Good distance between sites. Our site was level and on the water. Only negative was one of the toilets was plugged. The same toilet was plugged when we camped there two weeks before.

We love to camp at bluff creek. But we have a pontoon boat and cannot get it in at the Landing so that we could fish this will probably change our camping in the future. When are they planning on dredging out the creek so that boats can get in and out.

Great site! Ants were horrible though! Great time with our other camping friends.

I absolutely love Bluff Creek campground. The staff are always very friendly and they ride through to make sure everyone is ok. The bathrooms are clean and love the quietness of the campground.

One of the best campground stays I've ever had!
We arrived pretty late (30 mins before the gate closed) but were quickly welcomed by the park hosts & led to our campsite. It had all the amenities we needed & the cleanest bathrooms out of any park I've ever been to. The sites are well separated with small patches of trees in between most; we appreciated the privacy & rural vibe although the park wasn't particularly busy during our stay either.
I had *some* cell service with Metro (enough to search & navigate but not enough to stream movies) but my partner had no signal with Boost.
I highly suggest checking out Providence Canyon State Park; it's a quick drive (<30 mins) across the Georgia border. Give yourself plenty of time (I'm talking several hours) to walk through the canyons & bring plenty of water. Coolest place I've ever seen!

We had another great fishing trip to Bluff Creek as always. Met and chatted with Kay & Anna, some of the volunteer hosts and they were awesome! We were so excited to hear that a portion of the campground will be open year round this year. We love fall/winter camping! We really wish the entire campground would be open all year due to the excellent fishing there. We have been going at least twice a year since 2011 for our week long fishing trips and have made lots of awesome memories! & friends over the years. Thanks for a great little park and please consider keeping the entire area open year round in the coming years!
