What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek campground offers a serene and beautiful environment, ideal for those who enjoy wildlife and river fishing, with friendly and helpful staff contributing to a positive experience. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of deer, though some have noted a few issues, such as unkempt sites and noise from a nearby paper mill. The closed boat ramp and limited amenities for boating enthusiasts were common concerns, but many expressed a desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

Great campground, only downside was that we could not check in until 4pm, as check out time was 3pm. That's not in line with the times of other campgrounds and makes it difficult for those that leave another campground in the morning and arrive at their destination in the early afternoon after the usual four hour drive. Strange that the campground is on Eastern rather than Central Time, but a good thing or we'd have to wait even longer to be able to check in, as we came from the east. Suggest check out be changed to noon, check in to 1pm.
Parking sites were huge, paved, and overall very nice. Being beside the lake was great.

This was our first camping trip with our first travel trailer and was a very enjoyable stay.
The park was mostly quiet during the day but a little noisy at night from the nearby sawmill running all night long. Loved the numerous shady lots with water views. Kids enjoyed catching bass from the banks and riding bikes through the park. We felt very safe and secure and the Bath houses were very clean and also well lit at night. Definitely will be going back in the near future.

We had a wonderful visit to this location. Frank and Ira Moore, the campground hosts, were outstanding.

Bluff Creek is beautiful! Well maintained and very clean...but, there is an industrial park right down the river and the smell that place immits is terrible. It's especially bad in the afternoon hours, right when it's prime time to enjoy a cocktail outside. It smells like sour garbage. The industrial park is also the source for some noise, but it's not terrible. Almost sounds like thunder in the distance.
The biggest upside to this campground is the wildlife. We saw several deer on-site, some were very close. They don't seem too afraid of people but aren't a nuisance at all. Just beautiful.
The campsite shows relatively good cell service on the website, but don't be fooled. Neither my husband nor myself had good service. (Not really a big deal unless you work from "home" like I do. My hotspot would barely pick up a signal.)
