What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek campground offers a serene and beautiful environment, ideal for those who enjoy wildlife and river fishing, with friendly and helpful staff contributing to a positive experience. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the presence of deer, though some have noted a few issues, such as unkempt sites and noise from a nearby paper mill. The closed boat ramp and limited amenities for boating enthusiasts were common concerns, but many expressed a desire to return for the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

Positive things first: The attendants at the front gate are really nice. There’s lots of deer all over the campground to see. Lots of gators in the water to see and The fishing was decent. The bathhouses were very clean.
The negative: The sites are not being cleaned up before people arrive, we had to remove branches before backing into our site and the fire pit was full of trash. The odor from the mill near by is terrible and the noise is 24/7. Not a boat/kayak friendly campground due to the boat ramp being closed down. The road near the entrance has some huge holes and one of the hosts has a very messy site right by the entrance that is the first thing you see when you arrive. I will not visit again even if they offer me a free site and a daily foot massage. The laundry rooms had signs saying that they were out of order but I saw the attendants using them and the machines were working fine.

As always very quiet and very beautiful here. I have only been able to stay over night as it is a midway point in my travels but always nice stop. Always very friendly and place is always clean. Can’t wait till next time and maybe try to spend a couple of nights to relax more.

Very beautiful campground. The natural landscape was so serene. And all those deers! I saw several deer families each of the 6 days of my visit.
The campground host and her staff were wonderful! They were all polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. And I really appreciated their regular walkarounds to check in on us campers or just give a friendly "Hello".

Stayed in campsite 40 next to the water. I had a 15' camper trailer and a full-size truck, more than enough room. Nice shade most of day and close to restrooms and showers.

I had a really peaceful stay, the fishing was great. The staff at the the gate were Outstanding, they will try to help in anyway to make your stay comfortable. I didn’t have any ants. The only thing I would suggest is to cut back the tree limbs so that you don’t have ants. Great place to stay.
