This is a great park to stay in. It is a small park and that's why it is so great. The restrooms were kept clean all day. Will go back again.

This is a beautiful campgrounds with walking trails. The volunteer camp hosts are very friendly and helpful! It is also one of the most quiet parks I have ever stayed in, just be mindful of all the kids on bikes and scooters!! Most of the campers are local regulars with a few travelers added in and most everyone is friendly, there to relax and enjoy a little a little quiet time in a natural setting. But mindful that lots of visitors are also boaters and fisherman so you have a bit of boat traffic to and from the boat launch. the bathrooms are reasonably clean and above grade compared to many of the federal recreation sites we have visited!! As a past volunteer and former campgrounds, I have personally experienced in how hard it is to clean and maintain this type of public bathhouse! Sometimes no matter how hard you work visitors will still find the bathrooms a little below their personal standards! So I give 5 stars to all the volunteers who give of their time and effort to provide a positive experience to the guests!! There is not much in life I enjoy more than our federal and state parks!!

Service Park is a fine campground and we enjoy the line of pull-thru sites next to the river. The sites are reasonably level and in good condition as are the picnic table areas.
The fixed, concrete picnic tables could use some repairs to the wooden seats, but that is a minor issue. The park hosts are always friendly and helpful.

Service Park is a delight. The grounds and sites are beautifully maintained, and the Camp Hosts are most cordial. We greatly appreciated the raked picnic area and color-coded trails! We were in site 12.
