Enjoyed 6 wonderful nights on a riverfront site. There was a full moon during my stay which created a beautiful reflection on the water. A very pleasant experience as always!

We stay at C.O.E. Parks all across the country, and this was one of the best!! The folks at the entrance were super nice, a quiet and very clean park. Easy access right off US route 84 in Alabama. This stop was for only one night on a planned trip--but we would like to go back there and spend some time exploring the surrounding area. Site 12 was a pull thru (swing thru) with view of the Tombigbee river. Travel trailer 30 foot.

We stayed on Site 7 the View was great. Very quiet relaxing, bathrooms were very clean so was the camp site. Hosts were awesome, friendly, answered any questions we had, they even had some fire wood for us. The barges on the river was very cool. Nice short hiking trails. There is a Dollar general and gas station 4miles away if you need something.

A great experience once we got checked in. Had a frustrating time trying to make our reservation on-line after we arrived. This was the only COE park of the 5 we visited in October that the camphost could not check us in without a reservation. Recreation.gov is not user friendly. Did not recognize our Sr. Pass number, phone screen too small, too many pop-ups left very small area to work on, etc.
