I love the riverfront view on site 11. It was a short but sweet trip this time. I stayed from Sunday through Thursday. I love watching the barge traffic from this site. This is a campground I will definitely visit again.

This park DID NOT DISAPPOINT! First time here based on reading prior comments/reviews. Sites along river are spacious and level. Park is clean and trails are perfect for easy going folks walking our dogs. Showers and bath house very clean and well kept. Camp hosts Gail and husband were great! We will be back. We loved this park!!! Quiet and peaceful tranquility prevail.

We were in site 12, right on the river - it was beautiful, nice shade and the paved driveway (it's a pull through site) was level. The site is spacious. The hosts did an excellent job of keeping the grounds neat (they blew the leaves off the sites as they emptied) and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. They drove around the sites several times a day and were always pleasant and willing to help if there was a problem. The campground was quiet and peaceful - we loved sitting and watching the barges go by. There was a small grocery store in Grove Hill (Greer's Cashsaver) that had a good variety and very reasonable prices. It was about 15 mi from the campground. We will definitely return!
