There are no major activities here. That is the point. Sitting by the river and watching the workboats and barges go by is the most relaxing activity. Yes we enjoy the hiking trails, biking on the country roads, and fishing in the river, but it is so quiet and peaceful here. The hosts are always just so friendly, inviting, and helpful. They keep the sites spotless and the firepits clean. It is really and example for all other campgrounds to go by.

In previous years we had been scolded for parking on the grass. Our son came to visit and parked at the bathhouse. He was asked to move and told to park on the grass. Not sure what rules we are expected to follow.

The grounds were beautiful and very clean. We didnt use the shower house but im sure it was clean as well juat judging from the rest of the park. The host was very kind.
