Clean quiet campground with great view of river. Enjoyed watching barges pushed along river. Host Jeff was awesome. He helped us with a problem willingly and was kind as well.

Definitely consider this camping ground. Small and quiet on the banks of the Tombigbee River watching the barges go by. Beautifully maintained and friendly, helpful staff. Great fishing right off the park embankment.

Friendly staff, clean, well spaced sites with fire rings, grills, etc. Trails are well marked, but narrow and overgrown. Boat launch is a half mile from campground, so pulling a kayak on wheels was not feasible. View of Tombigbee proved entertaining.

This park has become our go-to place if we just want to get away for a few days. The sites are all hard-surface and well maintained. Many are pull-throughs and are close to the river. We are usually there during the week and the park is quiet and peaceful. The camp hosts are always helpful and courteous. If you are there on the weekends, check out Bimbo's Restaurant just east of Silas. The only complaint I have is that our cell service is hit or miss. We are with C-Spire. Other cell carriers may be better. This is our favorite Corp of Engineers Park.

The BW Tombiggbee service park is a great place to RV. The restroom and showers are very clean. The park is well kept and has a great view of the river. Cell service was a little low with my CSpire phone and T-Mobile MiFI. The host were great to deal with. The RV Sites are very level and most are concrete pads. Some of the pull through are asphalt. Our stay was a very relaxing and peaceful one.
