Gail and Bill were awesome hosts! The grounds and facilities were impeccable. I loved being right on the river and enjoyed watching the barges go by. Super peaceful, highly recommended!

Very nice park. My grandson enjoyed both very nice playgrounds, playing in the sand on the bank of the river and watching the barges come down the river during the day and especially at night. The trails were very nice but had recently suffered the wrath of a wind storm so there were trees in the way but still a nice hike. We will definitely be back.

Park hosts are great! Very friendly.
Just wish we could have used the park washer and dryer, but the Corps denied access due to COVID. I call BS in that one. We could use the camp bath facilities, but not the laundry this past fall!

A very well maintained park with exceptionally clean bath house and very good water pressure. Camp host was very helpful and nice, even when they had to open my brother-in-law's locked trailer when the key was left inside! Roadways are paved and in good shape as was the boat launch area and grill, fire pit and picnic table. The park ranger (Anna Loper) was onsite 2 days during our stay and she is a very competent and friendly ranger. She should be in PR! One note: the park had just reopened from a renovation due to flooding a year or so prior, but I bet the upkeep will be just as good going forward.

We enjoyed our stay at Service Park very much. Our site (#20) was shaded, spacious, and provided enough
room with ample space between the sites. We were able to enjoy the water traffic, fishing from the pier
at the boat launch area, and the fire pit provided us a nice campfire! The bath house was very clean with
all needed supplies. The host and hostess (Mr. & Mrs. Exeltine (sp. ??) from Michigan were very accommodating,
meeting us at our campsite to check in. This was our second visit and we look forward to visiting again before long!!

The only thing worth a drive to Coffeeville is Service Park Campground, and that is worth a drive to Coffeeville!! Large camping pads. Clean restrooms and campground. And the Tombigbee is full of delightful surprises!!
