What Guests Are Saying
The Black Bear Lake Cabin is well-maintained with a new deck and stunning scenery. While the steep terrain requires good physical condition for hiking, the views are rewarding. Bringing a small trolling motor is recommended for easier boating, as rowing can be challenging in windy conditions.

The cabin is in great shape and the scenery is beautiful. Don't show up out of shape because it is steep but worth the hike up the mountain. There are lots of black bear in this area. I recommend showing up with a small trolling motor if you want to utilize the boats because rowing can be a chore especially if a south wind hits.

The cabin is in great shape! New deck, clean area, 2 boats at the lake and beautiful scenery. The mountains around it are very steep, so you better be in shape if you want to hike much.
