Cabin was in excellent condition: clean, some propane and a good amount of firewood. Trails were also everywhere in perfect condition. Thank you very much to the trail crew!

Fantastic multi-night cabin trip. Cabins are cozy and well-maintained and the condition of the trails (especially for being so remote!) is unparalleled. Although there are usually a couple of extra pots and utensils in the cabins, don't expect them. Also be prepared (mentally) to gather more firewood once you get to the cabin. There is almost always enough to start a fire, but not always enough to keep you toasty overnight. So thankful for this amazing public resource!

Any trip into the White Mountains is wonderful. This one was especially so. The trails were in beautiful condition (thank you grooming crew!) and the cabin was in great shape.
Anyway, thank you BLM for making these cabins available and for making access so delightful!
