Jack, the campground host was very friendly and helpful. Several sites on the upper loop could accommodate our 36 foot fifth wheel. A bonus was the eagle nest behind our site.

Great sites! If you have a larger rig, try sites 1-20 1st:) there are more sites I 20-50, but most won’t handle the larger rigs (25-40)

I typically don't utilize campgrounds because I like the quiet and privacy of nature, so my review comes from that viewpoint. The campground was really nice and had plentiful spots to choose from when I stayed there on August 31. I stayed in site 8, right next to the trail that leads to the lake. The trail was really beautiful and the benches down at the lake were nice to go in the morning with my coffee.
My stay was last-minute, which was why I chose a campground, being later in the day. My complaints were that the restrooms were absolutely disgusting and smelled awful, there were several campers that came in very late and were all pretty loud while setting up camp, no respect for people trying to sleep, this was made worse by the close proximity of all the sites. Also, someone's child was screaming and crying for hours...exactly why I avoid campgrounds. In all it was a decent experience and I would stay there again if needed.

We found a nice level site, and there was a bit of firewood, so we put on the mosquito spray and had a nice fire. Hosts were nice, and helped with the non-cash fee station. Trails were a bit lacking. Richardson Hwy construction south was awful.

Nice layout. Each site very private. Quiet CG. Very nice. Stayed in #29 and very few campers in the loop.
