We stopped here on our way to Valdez and were welcomed by Karen. This was the first day of the RVing season and they were ready for us! A fire in the fireplace, a welcoming bar and a bowl of chili for dinner - perfect for our little group!
Karen placed us in the perfect spot, alongside the river and close to the showers - the best surprise of all! It was a ways to the lodge, so Karen came and fetched us since we didn't have a tow. The finale included an introduction to Andy, and a word for the wise - if sarcasm is your first language, you will love him! We did! And by the way, we are going to stop there on our way back! You should too!

I called late in the afternoon for a cabin and they had one available called a baby bear. Well it was the cutest ! It is a dry cabin but next to a bathroom. Which also is the cutest. Pizza and a glass a wine at the bar. Guests all friendly, staff friendly. We were headed to Valdez so this stop was perfect. If you are traveling Alaska for rustic charm, beautiful scenery and warm friendly people, stop at the Ranch House.

Loved my stay here. It was raining during my visit and myself and family went to the lodge to enjoy a pizza. Ended with hot chocolate with whipped cream for the kids, a whisky flight for myself and wife. Some much fun. Heard a little history.. had laughs. Andy is really good with the kids, loud and rough my daughter just smiled and giggled.

The owner was awesome. He told us the cabin was “rustic” and it was but we loved it. He kept the bar open late for us and baked handmade, delicious pizza for us. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, then this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for a true Alaska experience, THIS IS the place for you!

Spent 6 nights overlooking the creek. Class A towing a jeep. Great sites, level, power, water & sewer. Owners Karen & Andy are great hosts. They built this RV Park from the ground up. Pride of ownership is evident. Full bar, liquor store, and road kill chili. Pizzas aren't bad either. One of the best parks as we travel through Alaska.
