Auke Village Campground is praised for its clean facilities, beautiful forest setting, and convenient location near the ferry terminal. Reviewers enjoyed the well-maintained campsites, access to water, and proximity to scenic trails and the beach. While some noted issues with noise from other campers and the need for firewood, overall, the campground offers a pleasant and peaceful camping experience.

The camp sites are very nice , bathrooms cleaned often and water is near every site. The scenery is some of the best in Alaska!

Auke Village has beautiful sites with spring water near each. This is only minutes away from the ferry terminal and was perfect for a last night's stay near Juneau before the 5AM lineup to Skagway.

Nice campground but the 4th of July weekend was out of control. Younger people running around throwing firecrackers at each other was annoying after a while. I realize it was the 4th but we were trying to find a place with minimal fireworks (due to old dog).

Fantastic, wooded campground that is clean and safe. It’s located away from downtown less than five minutes from the ferry terminal, surrounded by big growth trees.
We stayed two different nights and loved it!

Auke Village Campground is a very nice primitive campground, very close to the ferry landing in Juneau. Perfect when the ferry arrives late in the evening. It was quiet and has an easy, well-marked trail out to a point.
