Mendenhall Campground offers stunning views of the glacier, well-maintained facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a top choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the hot showers, cleanliness, and spacious sites with good spacing and privacy. Some minor drawbacks include noise from nearby roads and occasional late-night disturbances, as well as the locked gate after 10 PM, but overall, guests have had wonderful experiences and appreciated the campground's natural beauty and excellent amenities.

Everything was great, it was nice talking with the camp host and seeing her driving around and looking after the place.

I got Campsite #9 - directly opposite the glacier. The campground had just reopened after the outburst flood. There was only one other occupied campsite that night so it was very quiet. It was heaven. It was the most beautiful campsite I have had in years. Words fail me.

I stayed late in the season at the campground. The site was surrounded by trees and was well maintained. The hook ups (electric and water) were excellent; no problems with pressure or power surges. Great camp hosts.
