Campground was seemingly abandoned. The website stated there was a fresh water fill near the office, yet the office wasn't even stocked or open giving you the impression the place had closed down save for the operating electrical connections. This was late June just before solstice. Since the water wasn't on to fill our tanks, we could only shower one of the three days we stayed. The sites were well spaced and the premium sites back up against the Kenai River and afforded great views of the river and Mt. Redoubt behind it. Good location about a mile from town which had a nice Safeway, Home Depot and a new Walmart. There was no staff onsite, no office, no bathrooms, water or dump station and no human contact other than fellow campers. There is 30-amp power at each site and there were only two other campsites occupied during our stay. There is a public bathroom at the adjacent dock area where boats could be put in and taken out of the water. You sign up using a QR code. Other than the nice views, I would pass on this place.

This RV park is perfectly located to those of us who want access to the Lower Kenai River in the summer. The sites are nice sized and the folks running the part continue to make improvements in the infrastructure each of the 4 seasons I have stayed here. They manage to control the yaawho factor which is impressive at the end of July when the reds are running.

We had the best experience at the campground when we stayed for dip netting. It is so easy to access the launch & return to our campsite following fishing & then clean our fish. The owners were friendly and respectful. The park is pet friendly is a plus and a must for us. We will definitely be back!

This is our new favorite campground! The owners bought an abandoned fish processing plant in early 2023 and have really worked hard at making it an awesome place. Had to clear acres of old boats, old out-buildings and rotten RVs. Many sites over look the wide crescent of the Kenai with Mount Redoubt (volcano) in the background. 15 minutes to Centennial Park for fishing and 15 minutes to the mouth for dipnetting with 8 fish cleaning tables with water hoses on the old docks. Also next door to the boat launch. Many sites have electricity (30amp) and there is water access to fill your tank. No dump station, but Chevron is about a mile away and has a free dump station. Will be back next year!

We have been coming here to the campground 4 years in a row. Love the location and the views. Access to the fish cleaning tables is a plus. It’s quiet, the views are breathtaking, pets are taken care of and not running around unleashed. The people (sorry I’m terrible with names) who run this establishment are always friendly. We look forward to seeing you again next season.
