Fantastic experience! Bring water filter for creek near the cabin for drinking water.
Caught up to 20” dollies near mouth of exit river using small red spoons and lures. We ate very well. Packed in aluminum foil to wrap and cook on wood stove coals. Bush plane was about $540. Round trip.

The trail to get there is an adventure with lots of down trees but cabin was in great shape.

We flew in to find cabin clean and cozy. Plenty of firewood. Some nice extras like fishing net, flotation vests, lantern. (Don't count on, they may be gone by now) All appreciated. Fishing was slow, our rented motor didn't work so we boat in stream. The boat however is a nice benefit. The trail in back (going back to Petersburg) is unbelievably beautiful. Saw NO ONE! Peaceful. Beautiful. Outhouse and wood shed are in good, as is the cabin. Beautiful setting.

The library in Petersburg is awesome. The collection is fantastic. The people are extremely helpful. if you are in Petersburg, and need the services of a library, I recommend you go there. If you need books or DVD movies, they will set you up.

Beautiful place for trout, salmon, and grayling fishing. No grizzlies, only black bears on the island.
