Russian River Campground is highly regarded for its spacious, clean campsites, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite spot for many visitors, including long-time campers. Improvements such as a new entrance road and well-maintained facilities enhance the overall experience. However, issues with reservation policies lead to frustration, as many booked sites remain unoccupied, preventing others from enjoying the campground.

Beautiful, very clean campsite.
Perfect for staying for several days as well. When we visit Alaska, stopping by the Russian River is a must for us.

The campsite is wide enough to put our travel trailer (30’) with room to move around. Some of the campsites in Russia River is very long and narrow.
Cellphone signal was great with AT &T.

The only reason I won't give the 5 stars is because both dump stations were down for the entire week. I understand sometimes techs can't get out, but 7 says is unacceptable, especially for a campground that sees that amount of traffic.
