Russian River Campground is highly regarded for its spacious, clean campsites, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite spot for many visitors, including long-time campers. Improvements such as a new entrance road and well-maintained facilities enhance the overall experience. However, issues with reservation policies lead to frustration, as many booked sites remain unoccupied, preventing others from enjoying the campground.

We decided not to fish because the run was 'past prime' and were looking for other options on site. Hiked to the falls for the first time which was absolutely beautiful.

This was my first experience at Russian river and was blown away by the sight of so many salmon, and got to see a mother bear with three cobs. The campground is nice and conveniently arranged.

The only reason I won't give the 5 stars is because both dump stations were down for the entire week. I understand sometimes techs can't get out, but 7 says is unacceptable, especially for a campground that sees that amount of traffic.
