If there is a better place in the world to fish than during the sockeye run I want to go there. Nothing fancy but the best fishing I have ever done. Can’t wait for this years run.

Basic waster, power, and electric. The best thing about this campground is it's on the Kenai River with excellent access. You can enter the river or fish from their boardwalk. Please note the boardwalk is only for people staying at the campground.

The sites were nice and level, it is right on the river and has fish cleaning stations.

The place has great potential, fishing is excellent. However the bathrooms are filthy, there is mold on the walls and ceiling. With a few hundred people using two toilets and once a day cleaning things get messy. Bring your flip flops and cleaning supplies if your going to use the showers. Then summer visitors are a joy to mingle with.
The staff is friendly.
