What a special place for our family of 4! We spent 3 nights and enjoyed fishing, hiking, crabbing, whale-watching and relaxing together. The cabin was spotless and cozy and we had the bay all to ourselves save for the final night when 1 boat anchored at a distance but never made a peep. Suggestions: bring a crab trap, keep an eye out for whales in the bay, and have your bear spray handy!

Stove in cabin was broken. Very damp, the whole time even though it’s summer. A friend said she reported the broken oil stove to FS and it was never fixed. Other than that excellent experience! Just wish I would have brought firewood as there was no dry wood anywhere!

Everything seemed to be in good shape inside and out, so no issues there! For those bringing a non beachable boat, there is a solid floating dock there easily held my 30ft cabin cruiser (no worried about low tide, it's deep enough)! Great little spot with a good trail behind the cabin leading to a beautiful estuary-esk area.

If you are looking for solitude this is not the place. Local yachts like to anchor in this little bay right in front of the cabin and PARTY. During summer it’s not uncommon to have 6-10 big boats anchored within 200’ of the cabin. Plenty of noise and they leave anchor lights on all night.
