About Middle Dangerous River Cabin

Middle Dangerous River Cabin is situated on the bank of the Dangerous River about 30 mi southeast of Yakutat. This remote retreat is open year-round, offering scenic views, wildlife watching and hunting opportunities. The site can be accessed by jetboat, hiking or ATV aong thel 4-mile trail from the Dangerous River Bridge. Visitors are responsible for their own travel arrangements, and must bring several of their own amenities.

It was a beautiful walk in the the bridge. A little spooky as there were huge Bear tracks in a few spots. We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. Bring an air mattress or pad. Overall it was a great experience ~ Jim

Cabin was awesome! The oil stove is an OVEN! Oh, if I would have only known it was an oven we could have brought things to bake. Oil stove was amazing. There were a couple pots and pans but nothing extra.
