This is a truly fantastic campground. The only services offered are trash/recycling and a pit toilet. It's about 3 mi east of highway 85 on a dirt and gravel road. The road would be easy for any car at a slow speed. The location is very remote, and it is far enough from the road that it is wonderfully quiet. There is no cellular signal on AT&T.
The photos do a great job of showing off how it looks, but it does make it seem as if each area is secluded. The neighboring campers are close enough to see, but it's still relatively private. Everyone was very respectful when I was there, and they were quiet in the evenings.
There is a trail that starts behind where the toilet is that leads into Alamo Canyon and to a small creek. While I was there, there were some beautiful sunsets with a night sky full of stars.
