Distant Drums RV Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Distant Drums RV Resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained, with spacious sites that made our stay very comfortable. The pool area was lovely, and the large laundry facility was exceptionally clean and convenient. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. A wonderful RV resort experience overall!

Lovely park in Camp Verde. Great staff. Concrete pads. Had a bit of an issue with leveling. They promptly brought over more blocks and offered an option to move. Nice pool, hot tub, dog park, community room and more. Close to lots of area attractions.

We stayed a week at Distant Drums. We had a great time. Staff member Jan greeted us as we came in. It was nice to be acknowledge because a lot of places don’t even recognize you standing waiting to be checked in. She was helpful and answered all the questions we had. Very pleasant lady. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Laundry room was clean and easy to use. Camp site was nice and we had plenty of room around us. Nice walking around the campground. We will be back again. Thank you for all you do and your staff members.

The campground is very nice with all concrete sites. The sites are tight for a 38 ft unit. The pool and hot tub are nice. Showers are efficient, but dated. Staff is friendly. The issue was with an aggressive dog attack on our first night which ruined our stay. The owner, nor dog was immediately removed. We filed an animal control report and the man was charged. Five days later, we were told that he would be evicted, but his aggressive, no responsibility presence made our stay uncomfortable. Our dog will survive, but 3 weeks later, he is still under vet care. Be aware of unattended or loose dogs in this campground. We have filed a claim on the liability insurance and will see if that works.

What a great RV park. Nice pool, a little on the small side, but refreshing. There is also a hot tub. Sites have full hookups, including sewer. There is also a dump station for those that need it. Nice dog park. The casino and hotel are a short bike ride away.
