Great spot on the creek enjoyed sitting on the sand bar on the creek and reading books lots of stars at night like camping with the modern convinces it is rustic so keep that in mind if go there

Cabin is great, cabin-keeper and visitors seem to treat the place with respect. I bet the no pets allowed rule has something to do with the overall good state of the cabin.

Have stayed at many cabins.
This cabin was advertised as clean!
Paperwork even said it was cleaned once a week.
THIS CABIN HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN A YEAR IR MORE.
Not only was it so filthy we had to sanitize wipe every surface including bedding…
We Cleaned for 6 hours put 2 layers of sheets on couch cleaned out the bathroom vent…
We found 3 black widows 1 in bathroom
We killed and others were in between windows and screen. This cabin is unfit for humans until it is exterminated.
There is also a large standing water behind cabin completely filled with many mosquitoes eggs covering it.
Thats probably why there arr so many spiders in every single window and corners of the house
Ww could not sleep a second night there and we didn’t sleep the first night !
Every number we tried for help would just ring with no answer or voicemail.
THIS WAS OUR HONEYMOON.
PLEASE DON’t let anyone else stay here!
i slept in cleaner places with a dirt floor

Great cabin with heat. Would have been nice to have brought some dry wood, or have some on hand to burn inside(and possibly outside) of the cabin during the rainy weekend. Nice for lack of cell service! Miss the rooster from earlier in the year.

The cabin was pretty comfortable. We arrived after dark and we could not warm the place up as the heater didn’t go above 60 but the 2nd night we got the wood burp stove going early and it was nice in the house. We took a little hike. There are horse shoes to play but bring any other entertainment. We made good use of the fire pit. The stay was very pleasant. Saw the ranger a couple of times and he was very informative. Would use this cabin again 😃

Sycamore Cabin is awesome - almost seemed like we were in a Fairy Tale. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The stream behind the cabin was a great spot to hike or just relax and listen to the many variety of birds. We've been to ~ 6 different cabins in the last few years and this is going on the list as a favorite!! Thanks Forest Service for doing a fine job of maintaining this cabin for the enjoyment of the public.

Large clean house. The creek is only large enough for fishing, not swimming, but beautiful either way.

Another fun weekend at Sycamore Cabin, really time to lose that futon though, its gotten pretty nasty. A big table in the main room would be great for dinners/playing games etc. Otherwise, we had a nice relaxing weekend.
