The cabin's capacity is up to eight people, however sleeping accommodations within the cabin are for six. A Recreational Vehicle (RV) is permitted for the additional two people. An extra vehicle fee will be charged for the RV. The cabin is available for reservation year round for guests seeking relaxation and recreation in central Arizona by making reservation on this site or calling 1 (877) 444-6777. Have stayed at many cabins.
This cabin was advertised as clean!
Paperwork even said it was cleaned once a week.
THIS CABIN HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN A YEAR IR MORE.
Not only was it so filthy we had to sanitize wipe every surface including bedding…
We Cleaned for 6 hours put 2 layers of sheets on couch cleaned out the bathroom vent…
We found 3 black widows 1 in bathroom
We killed and others were in between windows and screen. This cabin is unfit for humans until it is exterminated.
There is also a large standing water behind cabin completely filled with many mosquitoes eggs covering it.
Thats probably why there arr so many spiders in every single window and corners of the house
Ww could not sleep a second night there and we didn’t sleep the first night !
Every number we tried for help would just ring with no answer or voicemail.
THIS WAS OUR HONEYMOON.
PLEASE DON’t let anyone else stay here!

i slept in cleaner places with a dirt floor

Cabin is great, cabin-keeper and visitors seem to treat the place with respect. I bet the no pets allowed rule has something to do with the overall good state of the cabin.

A nice little cabin for a quiet getaway, thanks to all previous patrons who have donated items that are easily forgotten, this past weekend we too left a game table and supplies that others may find enjoyable while staying here.
Remember to bring firewood! (and leave some for the next people)

Our stay was amazing like always, if you like to spend real time connecting with your family, friends or nature this is just the right place to do it. The Cabin was clean as always and everything working properly. We brought our Bean bag tossing game, volleyball, card games and our books for night time reading with the cozy fire from the wood stove. Sitting around the fire pit in the evening enjoying our Coffee and freshly baked cookies was just amazing followed by a beautiful starry night. Grandkids had a blast playing in the creek right behind the cabin and walking down the road exploring,
no need for TV, cell phones or anything else, just the best place to enjoy and connect with your Loved ones.

This is a very nice cabin. The current keeper has done an excellent job maintaining the cabin. Central heating and cooling is working great and the new fridge and microwave is appreciated. To anyone who is planning to rent this cabin in the near future (2022), please bring/donate nice pots and pans, the ones currently there are pretty much at the end of their usability and need to be replaced. Also needed are mugs, cups, and plates, and possibly a floor lamp for the living room and the two bedrooms - the lighting is a bit subdued in the entire cabin with only one table lamp in the main room and harsh LED bulbs on the ceiling in the bedrooms. Lastly, this cabin is listed as no pet cabin, which is strange, because there is absolutely nothing different about this cabin from others that do allow pets. Overall, one of the top 4 cabins in Arizona! Beautiful location. Thank you FS staff and volunteers!

We had a great time. I was worried how warm we would be as some light snow was expected but it was perfect! The kids had a great time and so did the parents!
