Bonito Campground offers a great camping experience with well-maintained facilities, spacious sites, and friendly hosts. Reviewers highlight the cleanliness of the restrooms and the campground's peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for exploring nearby national monuments. Our first stay at Bonito Campground and it was wonderful. Camp hosts Frank & Sandy stopped by to greet us and they were so nice, they even had treats for our dogs. The bathrooms were clean and they had soap. Nice spacing between camp sites and overall very quite. Short walk to the information center from the campground. No cell coverage whatsoever, you will need to drive a few miles back out to the highway if you need that. Site 25 was big enough for our 34' 5th wheel and our truck. Lots to see in the area, we will be back.

Camped here before so I knew what to expect. Quiet campground in a nice location. My only complaint was I had to book a Saturday when I only wanted Thur and Fri.

Great site and campground. Plenty of room for truck and 18 ft trailer. Nice paved site, fairly level. Great fire ring. Plenty of sun for solar.

This is a great place to camp. The hosts are the most lovely we have EVER experienced at a campground, sites are large, bathrooms very clean and it is slightly protected from major wind, etc… and very quiet. Sound does not seem to travel very far so you will not be overwhelmed by the sound of kids playing in the adjacent site or hear your neighbors chatting.
One thing to note is you are camping on crushed lava rocks. It is small rock and not terrible but was a bit of a surprise to us so If you are in a tent be sure to bring a tarp!
