Gates were locked so we could not access parking. No camp host available, no one answered the phone number it said to call. I had to elderly family that we had to drive down, one by one, and help lift them over the fencing.
Other than that is was an amazing time.

This site is great. It is secluded from other campers but right off the road. The facilities are nice and there are several camp site options for tents, hammocks, sleeping under the stars, in camp trailers, or even in a vehicle. There is a bear box there so you can store stuff in if necessary, two outhouses, a pavilion that is great with 6 tables under it, 2 sets of 2 bbq’s and a prep/serving table just outside of the pavilion. The only complaint was there were some goathead stickers but I don’t know how to prevent them.

The site was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of space for games. The pavilion is excellent and provides ample seating. The area is such that it can support trailers, tents, hammocks, or simply sleeping under the stars. It is a beautiful site and best of all, we didn’t worry about bothering anyone or being bothered by others.

This group site was good for a large groom and for horses. Lacked trees though.

Large open parking lot for lots of traffic and travel trailers or horse trailers. Has camping spots that are fairly open for about a dozen tents. Most camp spots had picnic tables which was a bonus. Large ramada and group fire pit as well as picnic and serving tables for large crowds. Worked great for our group. Only downside was close to highway so a lot of traffic noise but far enough away that young kids running around wasn't a concern of safety.
