What Guests Are Saying

Rock Bluff Group Site offers a beautiful, secluded camping experience with clean vault toilets and plenty of space for tents. Although there is no running water on-site, many appreciated the quiet environment and proximity to the lake for fishing. Improvements such as drinking water access and shaded areas near the campsite would enhance the experience, but overall, visitors expressed a strong desire to return.

Wonderful site for large groups. Very private on our favorite little lake. No electric or water but the bathrooms were well maintained. Tons of space in a beautiful area.

We love the site. It's a great place to go have a great time of recreation with friends and family. We would fish, kayak, BBQ on the fire and just relax.

Our group certainly loved the fact that we had a locked gate as on Thanksgiving day several people tried to access the area. It wasn't as clean as I expected with many rouge campfire rings surrounding the main campsite. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the site.

We had a very nice day feasting at our private picnic site. The night was cold, but I heard ducks and owls.

The site was very nice, about a 5 minute walk to the lake. Disappointed that the picnic tables weren't close to the fire pit but the fire pit was large and came with a grill grate so that was nice. The restrooms were super clean. Had a great time and easily fit 3 trailers.

As a family of 4 this site was great! Close to the lake, but not so close that we can see other campers lights or hear their sounds. We ended up camping in the parking ring because any of the more suitable sites that had picnic tables and built in grills were brush covered and wasp infested. If we had been taking a larger group, my rating would be much lower.

The road in is terrible but the group site is pleasant. Site is a little tight for multiple campers but quite doable as we had four campers with the longest being 35 feet. Really nice having the site entirely to yourself with a locked gate preventing people from even venturing into your campsite.

I reserved this site without checking to see if it met the needs of a group of people who would be there June 25, 2023. We wanted to have the place for a picnic. When we went to check out the site, we found that Rock Bluff campsite is about a quarter mile (from the combination locked gate) of paved but dirt road. The site itself is just a fire-ring next to a concrete pad without any picnic tables or shade. There is the standard USPS toilet closeby. You don't have any view of the lake from this site. Even though we had reserved this site, we chose to picnic near the store under the shaded awning. I was, after all, late June.
