Clean campground. Camp host Lisa does a great job checking in on campers. Lots of portopotties scattered throughout the site. Fees for sights fluctuate. Three picnic tables mean triple the single site price. Good Verizon signal. Close to main road and Hwy 8. Therefore it is a bit noisy. Never did find the garbage can.

A real gem, easy to miss, but a wonderful place for peaceful secluded dry camping. Beautiful views of the mountains, natural desert beauty, lots of mature saguaro and miles of hiking trails throughout the park.

I love how most of the sites are far away from each other, but they have some closer together for groups also. very clean and some of the sites have immaculate Porta Jons between October and Easter. There are 24 sites and almost all of them are pull-thru. Every site has a shaded picnic table and BBQ.

The park host mentioned that the hiking trails are being redefined, most of which are completed. There are 2 horseshoe pits Near the group Ramada, and if you catch the park host, they will give you horseshoes to play with. This area also doubles as a large off leash area for dogs.

The noise from Hwy 8 is minimal. Only 15 minutes from Maricopa, and a 7 minute drive from the famous Dwarf Car Museum. A must see if you happen to find yourself in the area between the hours of 9-4 daily.

For only $10 a night, even without utilities, you can’t beat it!

If you happen to discover this place, consider yourself fortunate and blessed🙏🏻💕🌻

Very nice primitive campsites. It is by the highway which can be a little noisy but the wild life doesn't mind.
If you are a star gazer, this is a perfect place to get a clear night sky away from the city. SUPER Host at the park!!

This a great park with dry camping. The host was incredibly helpful, suggesting a better site and setting us up with it. Pick a lowered number site to be further from the freeway.

A cool little campground park with a few day use areas. Some are close together while a few are secluded out on the fringe. The interstate runs right along the backside of the park and there's some noise as a result. But after your there a half a day, you don't even recognize it's there. No electric, water or dump station. The host is very helpful and informative. Makes herself available when you need anything and really makes folks feel welcome. It's 5 stars from me all day long.
