Apache Wells

I currently live full-time at Apache Wells RV Resort (55+ community) in a 40-foot fifth wheel. I moved down here in 2020 and love the place! The people here are friendly and there's a lot of events hosted by the resort. The price is the least expensive of all Cal-Am resorts. Since the resort is part of the Cal-Am resorts, visitors to Apache Wells can attend events at any of the other 12 parks in Mesa. Apache Wells also has park models for sale for people who want to move here away from the snow country.

I have stayed there the last two falls. Lots are large with room for a full sized coach and parking for two vehicles if needed. People who work and live there are great. Being there feels like being part of a community. It is immaculately kept clean and neat. Has lots of amenities and community activities. Can't say enough good things about it.

Just finished a stay at this campground. The people really make this community special. Everyone was so helpful and I couldn't be more thankful. The park offers lots of fun activities so be sure to take advantage of them. The gym, pool and dog park are smaller than the other Cal AM parks we have stayed.
But they were able to accommodate us on short notice which was great and they are also a little less expensive. The only reason for giving the park 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is located next to the Mesa airport. The planes never stopped flying over which made it quite noisy when sitting outside. The residents assured me you get used to it but I didn't. Loved the park and people. I would definitely stay there again.

Pro: Very clean park. Paved roads. Concrete patio pads. Mostly park models. Okay dog park but high traffic as there is only one for many pet parents. Friendly people.
Con: Almost constant daily airplane noise from nearby small airport. Lots of noise from nearby major thoroughfare. No weekend office hours. Tedious on line registration process with overwhelming number of rules and regulations.
