I currently winter here in a park model in Orangewood Shadows. I am going on my 5th season at Orangewood Shadows. I have made so many friends from all over the USA and Canada. They have great amenities with plenty of fun activities. The staff and maintenance personal are spot on. There are ample spaces for campers and park model owners. It is a small park which I enjoy. It gives you the small town feeling and a chance for you toget to know others in the park. There are 2 pools and a big hot tub. There are so many activities. They are also located to near by shopping and restaurants along with grocery stores.

We got married 5 years ago, so my wife has been in the park for 10 years, this will be my 5th year in the park. We love the fact that it is a small park, absolutely wonderful people that spend their time there either full time or part time. The entities are great, the staff is great!! This is truly a park worth looking into if interested in finding a super friendly place to visit or stay!!!

This has more park models than RV spaces - like most in the area. Though there are spots for RVs scattered around the park. The park is fastidiously tidy and clean. Staff is extremely helpful. They have two pools as well as many organized activities from cards and games to water volleyball and shuffleboard, biking, hiking, and more. Laundry facilities are large and clean with a clothesline area. The people are all very friendly. In the winter there is a minimum of a 1 month stay. BUT.... Should you stay a few days longer, they pro-rate the monthly rate to a nightly rate. Not something we have seen elsewhere. We have water, sewer and garbage collection at our site. We pay for our own metered electric. The park is conveniently located near numerous restaurants, parks, shopping - all things typically found in an urban setting. What sets this park apart from the numerous others in the area is that they don't allow pets. Nothing against pets - but the park is much quieter and the streets are less clogged without all the dogs. Worked for us! There are orange and grapefruit trees on almost every site. But no shade. Choose a site with your outdoor living space on the north for the best sun protection. Our site was away from the main road and fairly quiet. Those sites on the main road could be noisy - at least in the daytime. Once in a while we would hear an airplane, but they are fairly high up although we are only about 20-25 minutes from the airport.

Grandparents use to have a place here, my family would come down every Christmas for years. Wonderful place, staff is super friendly, accommodations are really nice and the park is kept quite clean. Great sense of community and easy to meet new people.
