What Guests Are Saying

Valle de Oro RV Resort is praised for its lively atmosphere, friendly residents, and numerous activities, including live bands and events that keep guests entertained. The pool area is enjoyable with convenient food and drink ordering, and the large, level RV sites and grassy dog parks are highlights. However, some guests have noted issues with noise from construction and strict rules regarding outside food and pool etiquette, which could detract from the overall experience.

A very nice resort that has almost everything to keep you young and social. So much to do here! Live bands every night that plays from 3-7 on the patio by the pools, Tiki bar, 🌵 Cactus grill and sooo much more

Arrived in early January 2026 for a 2 month stay. The resort is very nice aesthetically and the people are very friendly. However, we have found some of the “rules” at Valle de Oro very annoying and during our first two weeks of our stay we have had loud construction noise right next to our RV from a remodeling project. The workman who apparently lives in the resort (he drives a golf cart to work each day) starts loud construction noise at 8:00am EVERY day including weekends until around 5:00pm. This video was from Sunday morning at 8:05am!! Can’t even watch TV its so loud and sitting on our patio is impossible because of the noise. From my construction experience this project could have been completed in 3-4 days and now in week two it’s become very annoying. In addition, visitors are allowed in the resort which is great and having grandchildren is awesome.
That said during one afternoon at the large pool we counted 17 small kids in the pool. Again, not a problem but one younger man, assuming a dad of three kids, were wrestling around in the a pool and he thought it was fun to take the kids and throw them in the pool splashing everyone around. Relaxing in the pool isn’t great when you’re constantly being splashed in the face. There were two older persons walking around enforcing rules about having only have clear plastic containers in the entire area while paying no attention to any kind of rules about pool etiquette. Last but not least there is no outside food or drink allowed in the pool complex area. The Cactus Grill is nice, food good and prices very reasonable but if you want to have any kind of food or drink you have to eat it elsewhere or buy it there. Sorry for all the complaints but this could be a very nice resort with a little tweaking of the crazy rules.
Not sure about a return visit next year. We have previously stayed at Monte Vista and though it was not as nice aesthetically it was much quieter and with the RVers segregated we weren’t having to listen to someone pounding and cutting metal every day, all day. If we wanted to sit by the pool we would pack a snack and drinks and enjoy without having to buy everything there!

Wow! I found my happy place! I'm 56 and thought everyone would be 80 but that's not the case at all. We came for one week and stayed for two! Every day was like spring break at the pool in a good way - live BANDS ( not just a singer) every day from 3-7. Every band was very good as evidenced by all the dancing going on. Valle Del Oro residents really know how to have fun! The pool was super warm with food and drinks super easy to buy. All you do is scan a barcode to order and pay for what you want. Food and drink were reasonable and it's a non-tipping resort. There's so much to do! The sites are large and level with RV's next to park models. Grassy dog parks were a huge plus. There's always something going on - in our two week stay they had RC car racing, Lance Burton the magician, a huge quilt show, huge car show, special dinner, baseball playoffs and more. Everyone is very nice too. The place is just great! We will be spending a month there next year.
