Lovely place. Nice clean and quiet. Though no fault of the campground horse flies were awful! I was stung multiple times and it was the only downside of my stay. I only mention it so other campers are aware and if they make anything that will deter horseflies that you pack it so you can enjoy the outdoors. This place is quickly becoming a favorite place. Highly recommend!

The site was great. Especially if you have children. They can play on the playground and still be within sight.
The bugs were out of control. We could not be outside at night. They swarmed all lights and our camper. Extremely bad at the bathroom.
There were dogs barking at all times. Running loose and owners cursing their dogs.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 6 mi. Turn left on Edgewood road and continue 2 mi to the campground.

The campground is accessible from Interstate 30 via exit 78, followed by a 6-mile drive north on State Highway 7.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Daily occupancy is required.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Fireworks prohibited in campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
