We like the spot being accessible to the swimming area and being able to park your boat and being close to it. The black top where you park your camper is broken and narrowed and has a 3 to 4 inch drop by where we park our door and we almost fell several times other than that we love spot #28

We love Edgewood. Having a camp host again was great. And the Ranger was helpful.

We had a hard time finding it in the first place. The signage could be marked more clearly. It is very unlevel ground and not good for elderly walking in or near the sites. However, the concrete parking pad was level, so leveling the camper was not a problem. Family friendly, and a swimming area nearby.

We arrived our site 44 was hard to get into so camp host helped us find another site. He was so very helpful! Our site 2. We had a wonderful time here. Will stay again. If your a senior and have The American the beautiful pass it’s extra for the price!

Everything was perfect except there is a steep decline from the RV pad. The camp host (fantastic gentleman) said he has plans to add steps down. We will be back.

a storm knocked the power out for several hours and it was super hot with no power for the air conditioning. The campground manager guy is super, nice, super helpful and seems to love his job. He does a great job.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 6 mi. Turn left on Edgewood road and continue 2 mi to the campground.

The campground is accessible from Interstate 30 via exit 78, followed by a 6-mile drive north on State Highway 7.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Daily occupancy is required.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Fireworks prohibited in campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
