Shouse Ford

Always love camping at Shouse Ford except this trip was not as enjoyable because of the heavy rain and some storms and the cooler temps. The rain was so much that the lake kept coming up each day and made parking the boats at the sites a problem. The rain stopped and the temps got warm just as we had to go home.

Nice relaxing time at Lake Degray.

It was very clean with beautiful trees for plenty of shade also easy access to the launch our boat.

It was very disappointing. We have been going to the park since the late 70's. It has many great memories. But will not be back. Grass not mowed, sites are horrible (nothing has been done to improve them). It is a shame that no money can be spent on this park. It used to always be full but now not even on weekend. It has so many water site that you just keep losing money on this Campground. Your loss!

Showers were very clean but the beach at the swimming area was full of animal poop

We had a great time! Clean bathrooms and a playground were amazing. Only complaint was excessive bird poop all in front of the water in the swimming area, but it was manageable. Everything else was awesome!

The campground is in a great place on the lake. We stayed in site 20 for 12 days,which is great for campers with children. One problem is the fact that site 19 is literally 3 ft from the back of our camper. We could actually hear the man snoring at night.

Very impressed with how clean this park was!

no sand on beach. geese poop all over beach. ranger don't come around to shoot the geese off. it's just sad. this place has went down hill so bad. plus you have dead trees on camp pad. we had a big limb fall out of the blue and barely missed the canopy. last night there someone brought there 2 small small dogs or puppies and left them outside all night, and they barked all night keeping everyone in our party up.
