The bathrooms were well maintained daily, which is a major plus. With one way in and out our 12yr old was able to join the other kids, camping with their families, on bike rides with out worry.

The restrooms and showers were well kept. However, we were very disappointed in the keeping of the grounds, pot holes in drive, some grills are not level, the benches at the swimming area needed repair. The swimming area needs major work because of wash outs. Our last trip there was a year ago and the same pot holes were still in the driveway.

This is one of the places we camp most. We do love the lake. Campsites could be cleaned and upgraded.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north to Bismarck. Turn left on State Highway 84 and go 9 mi west to Point Cedar. Turn left onto Shouse Ford road and continue 4 mi to the campground.
