What Guests Are Saying
Springhill Campground is well-maintained, featuring clean facilities and friendly hosts. Many campsites are spacious, shaded, and located near the Arkansas River, making it a great spot for families and nature lovers. While there are minor issues such as limited restroom access and occasional noise, overall, visitors highly recommend it for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I’m hesitant to leave a 5 star review because I don’t want this place blowing up with reservations rendering me unable to come back.. but it truly was 5 stars! We had a huge campsite overlooking the river . All of the sites on loop B were HUGE. We felt like we had a lot of privacy, shade, and our own side yard . Site 6 was close to the new bathrooms as well. My kids loved the bike trails, especially the double peaked bridge by the main playground . The grass was well maintained throughout and would have spent more time there if we had realized the beauty of the place. I’ll remember s’mores , barn owls in flight, and bats at night . I also loved being 20 minutes from the art museum and action in FSM. Nature and amenities? Best of both worlds in my option. We will be back!

Great location and well appointed campground. Loved how it’s by the river and most of the campsites are in the trees.

Only stayed one night in site B07, but would have loved to explore more of this campground. The site was pretty level with good electric & water connections, and backed right up to the Arkansas River next to a lock & dam (which meant that periodically there was a siren sounding when they we letting barges pass through). The restroom & shower building was almost brand new, so these were the nicest, cleanest facilities we’ve ever seen at a COE campground! Only issue with site B07 is it sits at the bottom of a small hill and recent heavy rains had washed some mud down onto this site.

Very friendly staff, and the facilities were immaculate. I would suggest this campground to anyone.
