Very pretty spots right on the river. Nice and quiet area but close to town also. And the grounds are kept up well. Would stay here again for sure!

Sites were pleasant as was Grant at check in, there was a camper in our reserved site, and I was too tired to fight over it or wait for someone to move . I took the next available site and all was well until the following day when the folks that reserved the site we took arrived. A call from Grant and a brief explanation and he uprooted the interlopers and we relocated to our site. A reserved sign and proactive staff diligence could have averted the entire situation. But, no harm, no foul . We had a fine time in a wonderful facility.

Spacious sites in the "A" loop. Easy to back into all the sites. Wonderful views. I plan to spend a few days here next year.

We stay at a lot of Army Corps campgrounds, and they are usually in great condition. However, this park is a little run down and could use some attention. The restroom in loop B has paint peeling off the doors and ceilings. The heater vent in the bathroom is rusty and full of cobwebs. Very dated and a little creepy. The bath house in loop B, where the showers are located, is a pretty good walk from most of the campsites. The showers are the push button kind where you get 30 seconds of water with each push. The first push gives you cold water, the second scalding water, and after that it's barely tolerable cool water. The dumpster in loop B was overflowing when we arrived on Wednesday, was never emptied, and still towering trash when we left on Monday. Loop A is about a mile away. It seems a little more modern and the campsites all back up to a small lake. We did enjoy walking on some of the many trails in the park. The park is pretty, but it really needs some attention and TLC.
