The camp site was very clean. Nice picnic tables. A good place to escape the hustle and bustle. Cell phone service is spotty. We went hiking while there. Bathrooms could use a good scrubbing. Lots of bugs, and spiders on the floor and walls. One of the showers only had cold water. Overall I would be interested in returning one day. Appeared to have nice fish cleaning stations.

Stayed here for the 2024 eclipse. Site was very spacious with plenty of room around the site. Cell phone service was very marginal with Verizon and could not get acceptable service. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but were acceptable. Area patrolled by rangers and Sheriff on a regular basis several times a day. Seems to be a good campground for fishermen. Mosquitos were bad at night but we were not bothered by them during the day. Would recommend this camp area.

Dogs running loose all week constantly barking when owners left them tied up when they left their camps. River banks so grown up you can hardly see the water from all but three camp sites. This has been an ongoing problem for years

+quiet
+pretty
+the potties part of the bathroom was cleanish (bring ur own soap)
-There were burnt beer cans in the firepit when we arrived
-the showers were not clean.
No one ever approached us to check our reservation. I made the reservation online and arrived after dark and left three days later.
Bank fishing, we pretty much caught perch, my son caught a big bowfin on cutbait.
There are trashcans, fish cleaning area, play set for young kids, a boat ramp, walking trail...
Walmart was about 20-25 minutes away. There is nothing close. Nothing. Be sure to bring everything you need.
Verizon cell service was pretty poor. I had one bar- good enough to call or text but I couldn't use the internet and texting pictures didn't work.
All in all, for a weekend during Spring break, it was a very quiet relaxing place to camp for myself and 2 teens.

We visited White Cliffs in February and had the whole place practically to ourselves! Our favorite lot is #18. Great view of the water & a small inlet where you can pull your boat close to your camper.
Our only warning is the buzzards by the fish cleaning station. There were close to 20 on my SUV. Their claws scratched the clear coat on the top of my car. Park as far away from the fish cleaning area as possible!!!
