If you’re going in the fall. Please be sure to carry a blower and rake. Some of the campsites were not well kept and full of huge sycamore tree leaves. Hard to see copperhead snakes in all those leaves. NOTE: Two copperheads were removed from bath house the previous week. Also be mindful of the sap coming out of some the trees around your campsite. Two vehicles and a boat had to be washed when we got back home from all the sap. It was terrible. The Little River experience was a first for me but I loved the sites and sounds of it all; especially the alligators and the fishing. Looking forward to a second trip in the spring!

White Cliffs Park is clean and well kept. Trees are trimmed and the river bank is accessible. The park has a boat ramp and playground and the staff was friendly. They gave us a handout explaining the history of the park area and the white cliffs. We enjoyed our stay. We went to Bill Clinton's boyhood home in Hope and visited Texarkana. In Texarkana, we toured the regional museum, the P.J. Ahern home, and the Ace of Clubs House. They were informative and the Ace of Clubs House is so unique! If you're near Texarkana, it's worth a visit.
